Modified on Thu, 8 Jun, 2023 at 9:09 AM

USSD (Unstructured Supplementary Service Data) codes are special codes that can be executed over the mobile network. It is a text-based communication technology that allows users to perform certain actions or retrieve information via their cell phone by entering short codes on the phone keypad.

USSD codes typically begin with an asterisk, (*) followed by a specific combination of digits and characters. These codes are processed in real time and allow users to access various functions and services without the need for a mobile app or data connection.
