To successfully activate an eSIM on your device you need an eSIM profile and an activation code. To activate and download the eSIM profile you only need to scan the QR code sent to you with your device. Make sure that you are connected to the Internet during the scanning process, e.g. via WLAN.


There are three options to get an eSIM:


New customers who do not have a Digital Republic account can select and activate an eSIM when they open an account.

Existing customers who would like to have an eSIM variant instead of a classic SIM card can apply for an eSIM change via the customer portal.
