You can easily see the status of your number portability in the cockpit of your customer account. 

 

The first step will be the verification of your ID. As soon as this is completed, we will start with the transfer of your phone number. 

 

If all the information you gave us during activation is correct, we can port your number within three working days at the earliest. 

 

The transfer of your number will therefore take at least three days after you have activated your SIM card online. 

Depending on how quickly your previous provider releases the number, it may take longer. 

 

For prepaid: 

To confirm your porting, we sent an SMS to your old number. 

 

Please confirm the porting with "YES" by inserting the SIM card from your previous provider into a smartphone. 

 

You can receive this SMS even if there is no current balance left on your prepaid card. 

 

As soon as we receive the confirmation, we will start the number porting.


For subscriptions: 

If you have a subscription with a certain contract period with your previous provider, there are two possible scenarios: 

Your subscription with your existing provider has expired. In this case, we can apply for your number porting immediately. 

Your subscription with your existing provider is still running and you want to port your number. Here you have two options:

You wait until your minimum contract period has expired and your number will be ported after the expiration of your contract. You can still activate the SIM card from us online if you want. The SIM card with the subscription will only start to run when your term with the old provider has expired. 

You would like to port your number immediately to start your new subscription with Digital Republic. In this case, we will arrange with your previous provider for an early termination and thus for the porting of your number. Please note that there may be a charge from your previous provider.
