Modified on Wed, 28 Aug at 9:40 PM

Two-factor authentication (2FA) is an additional security query for logging into your customer account. In addition to your password (first factor), a code (second factoris requestedwhich you receive via your smartphone. This means that no one can log into your account with your password unless they also have access to your smartphone

This is why you should set up 2FA wherever possible:

It happens again and again that email addresses and passwords get into circulation as part of cyber attacks on companies. These can then be misused for criminal purposes. As a useryou usually only notice this when it is already too late. 2FA is an effective method of protecting yourself against such attacks. Even if your login details have been leakedno one can log into your account without access to your smartphone.
