What do our Flat Mobile subscriptions include?

Here is a brief summary of the most important information about our Flat Mobile subscriptions.


Requirements

Before you can use our Flat Mobile subscriptions, there is one requirement:

  • Proof of identity: To use the included calls, you must meet the following requirements. Customers who do not meet these requirements can still purchase the subscriptions, but cannot use the included calls from Switzerland to other countries and outside Switzerland. Requirements for voice roaming and value-added services.


Brief explanation

We offer a range of flat-rate mobile subscriptions for you:

Flat Mobile Swiss

For 13 CHF per month or 143.00 CHF per year (one month free for new customers and when signing up for a year), you get:

  • Unlimited internet in Switzerland (5G).
  • Surfing speeds of up to 30 Mbit/s download and 15 Mbit/s upload (full speed).
  • Unlimited incoming and outgoing calls and text messages within Switzerland 
    (excluding service numbers and premium rate numbers as specified in the rate list).


Flat Mobile

For 18.00 CHF per month or 198.00 CHF per year (one month free for new customers and when signing up for a year), you get:

  • Unlimited internet in Switzerland (5G).
  • Surfing speeds of up to 2000 Mbit/s download and 300 Mbit/s upload (full speed).
  • Unlimited incoming and outgoing calls and text messages within Switzerland 
    (excluding service numbers and premium-rate numbers as specified in the rate list).
  • 5 GB of data roaming in the EU/US zone per month (60 GB per year)
  • 100 minutes per month / 1200 minutes per year Calls within and to Zone 1 included (see details below)

Roaming (Internet + Telephony)

With our Flat Mobile subscriptions, you'll be perfectly connected not only in Switzerland, but also abroad.


Internet-Roaming:

Flat Mobile: With Flat Mobile, you get 5 GB of data per month for roaming in the EU/USA zone. If you sign up for an annual subscription, you get a total of 60 GB for the EU/USA zone, which you can use flexibly throughout the year. 

Important:

  • Volume renewal: Your roaming volume is automatically renewed on the first day of each month with a monthly subscription. Regardless of when you activated your plan, your counter starts over on the first day of the month. With the annual package, you have the full 60 GB available right from the start.
  • Proportional usage in the first month: In the first month in which you use your subscription, the roaming volume will be made available to you on a pro rata basis. For example, if you activate your subscription on January 15, you will receive 50% of the volume for the rest of January. From February 1, you will then have the full volume at your disposal.
  • Usage monitoring: You can view your current roaming data usage at any time in the customer portal. This gives you full control over your costs at all times.

Telephone Roaming:

With your Flat Mobile subscription, you can also make calls and be reachable when abroad. We explain how it works and what you need to bear in mind.

Included calls

With Flat Mobile, you can make calls within Zone 1 at no extra cost. This means:

  • Calls from Switzerland to Zone 1 countries: If you call a Zone 1 country (e.g., Germany or France) from Switzerland, this call is included in your subscription.

  • Calls between Zone 1 countries: If you are in a Zone 1 country and call another Zone 1 country (e.g., from Germany to France), this call is also included.
  • Incoming calls in Zone 1 countries: If you receive a call in a Zone 1 country, you will not incur any charges.

Non-included calls

Some countries are excluded from the included calls. This means that calls from Switzerland to these countries are not included in your Flat Mobile subscription and will be charged separately. Here is the list of countries for which this does not apply and for which you will be charged separately:

  • Bulgarien
  • Croatia
  • Czech Republic
  • Estonia
  • Hungary
  • Lettland
  • Lithuania
  • Polen
  • Romania
  • Slovakia
  • Slovenia
  • Türkei

Important: 
If you are in one of these countries and call another country (e.g., from Bulgaria to Germany), this call is included in your subscription. This only applies to calls from Switzerland to these countries. Zone 2 and 3 are also subject to charges. 


Usage control: You can always keep an eye on your roaming usage: in the customer portal, you can see how many minutes you have already used at any time. We will also send you a text message when you have used 50%, 80%, and 100% of your included volume. 

Important:  For longer calls (e.g., over 2 hours), we cannot send you interim balances during the call. But don't worry, we won't just end your call because of this! Any additional minutes you use beyond your included volume will be billed according to our rate list and invoiced to you separately.

In summary

  • Calls from Switzerland to the above countries are not included.
  • Calls from these countries to other countries (including Switzerland) are included.
  • Calls within Zone 1 (regardless of where you are) are always included.
  • Zones 2 and 3 are subject to a charge.
  • We will send you a text message when you have used 50%, 80%, and 100% of your included data allowance.




Weitere Informationen

  • Switching from Flat 10 + Voice: You can switch your Flat 10 + Voice SIM card to a Flat Mobile plan. The change will take effect immediately if the term remains the same. If you switch from an annual subscription to a monthly subscription or vice versa, the change will only take effect after the current package has expired.

  • Existing roaming packages: If you already have an EU/US roaming package and switch to Flat Mobile, you will not lose it. First, the roaming volume included in Flat Mobile will be used up, then your previously purchased roaming package. 

  • Why there is no automatic upgrade from Flat 10 + Voice: We want to give you the freedom to decide which plan suits you best. Many customers appreciate being able to deactivate the Voice option when necessary, and not everyone needs roaming.
