Important for the call number transfer:
- Termination:
It's good to know that you don't have to cancel your contract with your current mobile provider. We take care of that for you! If you want to switch, it is therefore important that you do not cancel your contract with your current mobile provider. The application for the number transfer/cancellation does not begin with your cancellation, but with the completed registration with us.
- Termination period:
In principle, you can leave your current mobile service provider even before the subscription contract expires (early contract termination). However, the current mobile operator may charge you a penalty fee for not complying with the terms of the contract. Therefore, check in advance which contract terms you have. If you are not sure, we recommend that you select the "End of contract period" cancellation type.
- Prepaid phone numbers:
After registering with us, please confirm the porting by sending an SMS with the number to be ported to the number 499 with the content "YES". You can send this SMS even if there is no credit left on your prepaid card. If you are not able to send the SMS, you can contact your current mobile operator. They can also perform the deregistration for you manually.
- Swiss phone numbers / landline numbers:
Please note that we can only transfer Swiss numbers from Swiss mobile operators to us. Foreign & landline numbers can unfortunately not be transferred to us.
How can I take my phone number with me as a new customer?
- First, create an account on our website: --> Go to the customer portal
- Perform the verification successfully. Why do I need to perform verification?
- Select whether you want a SIM card or an eSIM in the SIM type selection. If you don't have a physical SIM card yet, you can order one from our store.
- Next, select the device type and give your SIM card/eSIM a name, then click "Next".
- On the next page, it is important that you select the "Voice Option", otherwise you will not be able to register a number transfer. In the last section, you can now select that you want to transfer your existing phone number to us. Then click on "Next". Unless you own our Flat Mobile, the voice option is already included there.
- On the next page, enter your current phone number, current provider, current contract type and termination type.
- Finally, you will receive a complete overview (selected rate, payment method, etc.) and can complete the order with phone number transfer.
- After completing the order, the number transfer is displayed directly in the customer portal. You will also receive an additional confirmation by e-mail. We will inform you about the next steps by e-mail.
Please note that we have no influence on the cancellation date/start date. This is determined by your current mobile provider, bases on your current contract.
As an existing customer, how can I take my phone number with me?
- Log in to your customer portal.
- Now click on "Add a new device". Select whether you want to have a SIM card or an eSIM in the SIM type selection. If you don't have a physical SIM card yet, you can order one from our store.
- Next, select the device type and give your SIM card/eSIM a name, then click "Next".
- On the next page, it is important that you select the "Voice Option", otherwise you will not be able to register a number transfer. In the last section, you can now select that you want to transfer your existing phone number to us. Then click on "Next". Unless you own our Flat Mobile, the voice option is already included there.
- On the next page, enter your current phone number, current provider, current contract type and termination type.
