In this article, we explain how you can add a roaming package to your SIM card.

A few things to keep in mind:

• The roaming package can be booked both via the customer portal and via the roaming portal. The process is identical.
• Each roaming package is valid for 365 days and is only activated once you activate roaming on your device abroad for the first time.

Here's a step-by-step guide:

1. First, you need to log in to your customer portal.
2. Once you're logged in to your customer portal, you'll see the overview of your SIM cards / devices. Click "manage" on the affected SIM card / device.
3. Now click "Roaming" and select a roaming package via "Choose package".
4. Finally, click "submit".

The new roaming package will be active within a few minutes.

Important:
If this is a new SIM card, a national data package (Switzerland) must have been activated once, so that a roaming package can then be booked independently of the national data package. When you book a roaming data package with us, you have 365 days to activate this data package. Activation happens automatically as soon as you use the internet via roaming abroad for the first time. Once successfully activated, your roaming data package is valid for 365 days. Once you've used up the data package, you can activate a new one.
