What is Mobile Flat and what does it offer?

Mobile Flat is a comprehensive mobile subscription. Unlike other tariffs, it is a fixed bundle and not a modular tariff that you can customize. With Mobile Flat, you get:

- Unlimited internet in Switzerland (5G)

- Unlimited inbound and outbound calls and SMS in Switzerland

- 2 GB of data roaming in the EU/USA zone per month (or 24 GB of data roaming per year)


How much does Mobile Flat cost?


CHF 18.00 per month and CHF 198.00 per year. The first month is free for new customers. We also offer you a free month when you subscribe to an annual package.


What internet speed does Mobile Flat offer?


You can surf with speeds of up to 30 Mbit/s download and 15 Mbit/s upload.


The Flat 10 + Voice also costs CHF 18.00. Why aren't existing customers automatically upgraded to Mobile Flat?


Many customers enjoy the flexibility of deactivating the voice option from time to time and reactivating it as needed. Likewise, not every customer requires roaming. We want you to decide for yourself which tariff is right for you.


Can I switch my Flat 10 + Voice SIM card to Mobile Flat, and if so, how quickly does the switch happen?


Yes, you can. If you choose the same duration as your current Flat 10 + Voice, i.e. from a monthly package to a monthly package, or even from a monthly package to an annual package and from an annual package to an annual package, the switch to Mobile Flat will be immediate. Switching from an annual package to a monthly package is considered a downgrade, and the switch to Mobile Flat will only occur after the current annual package expires. If you switch from Mobile Flat to Flat 10 + Voice, this is also considered a downgrade and will only occur after the current package expires.


What happens if I already have an EU/USA roaming package and then upgrade? Will I lose it because 2 GB are already included?


No, you will not lose already purchased roaming packages. Generally, the roaming data volume included in Mobile Flat will be used first. Once this is used up, your previously purchased roaming package will be automatically used again. Don't worry, we'll notify you via SMS when you reach 80% and 100% of your roaming package. When your Mobile Flat is renewed, the cycle starts again, and the included volume is used first.


With an annual package, do I get 2 GB per month or a total of 24 GB of roaming data for the EU/USA zone?


With a monthly package, you get 2 GB per month, and with an annual package, you get 24 GB per year. Whether you use 10 GB or 1 GB in a month with your annual package doesn't matter; you have a total of 24 GB and can use it over the course of a year.


Why am I not entitled to the full 2 GB of roaming included in the first month?


Your roaming volume is renewed every month on the first day, regardless of the activation date of the tariff. That's why you get your roaming volume on a pro rata basis in the first month. The full 2 GB will then be available to you on the 1st day of the next month.


Example:

You activate Flat Mobile on January 15: You receive 50% of the roaming volume for January and 100% from February.


I can't change my current subscription to a Flat Mobile. Why is that?


Flat Mobile is only available for the "Smartphone" device type. You would therefore have to adjust your device type.

To do this, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to the customer portal.
  2. Click on "Manage" next to the relevant device:
  3. Then click on "Details" at the top of the category.
  4. Next, change the device type to Smartphone:
  5. Then click on "Save" on the right.
  6. Now go to the top category on "Plan" and click on "change".

After that, you can choose whether you want the monthly or yearly plan:
