How do I order and activate a physical SIM card?

Here, you can find out how to order and activate a physical SIM card.

Prerequisites:

To order and activate a physical SIM card, you must meet the following criteria.


  • You have a Swiss delivery address. (Required for delivery, but not for activation)
  • You have a device that is SIM card-capable and supports at least the mobile phone standard (3G/4G/5G).
  • You have a valid ID document for digital personal identification. (Why do I need to perform verification?)


I'm a new customer:

You don't have a customer account with us yet, but would like to order and activate a SIM card.


Ordering:

  1. Go to our online store and select your starting tariff. At the beginning, you have the choice between the Flat 0.4/Flat 10/Flat 300 tariff. (You can also change this after activation) How can I manage, deactivate or pause my subscription in the cockpit?
  2. Once you have found the product of your choice, you can easily add the item to your shopping cart. Then click on the shopping cart to go to the order overview. Then click on "Continue to checkout". Now fill in all the required fields and select your preferred payment method. 
  3. Once your order has been successfully processed, an order confirmation will be sent to you by e-mail. Please also check your spam folder.


Payment by invoice?

Unfortunately, we do not currently offer our private customers payment by invoice. Corporate customers, on the other hand, already have the option of ordering by invoice. Please contact us and let us know your delivery address, billing address, number of SIM cards and the desired tariff.



Activation:

  1. First, make sure that you are on the right portal. The portal corresponds to the company from which you purchased the SIM card. You can also find the correct portal on the flyer we sent you with the SIM card. Where can I find the SIM number (ICCID number)?


    Select the right portal:

  2. First click on "Start registration" and define your login e-mail address and your personal password. Then click on "Register".
  3. Now click on "Activate SIM card" on the next page and enter your SIM card number and your PUK code. Please make sure that you enter the numbers correctly. Then click on "Next".
  4. Now select what you want to use the SIM card for. It does not matter whether you will actually end up using the SIM card in this device. You can then assign a personal name to your SIM card. This selection will help you to better categorize the SIM cards later. Finally, click on "Next" again.
  5. On the next page, you will now see your desired tariff, which you ordered in advance via our online store. If you only need the SIM card for data traffic, you can remove the voice option. This also eliminates whether you want to take a new phone number or an existing one with you. Then click on "Continue". However, if you would prefer to take your existing number with you, you can proceed as follows: How can I take my existing phone number with me?
  6. Now enter your personal details on the next page. Please make sure that you enter your data truthfully. When entering your first name and surname in particular, you should make sure that you enter them in accordance with your ID document. This step is very important so that the digital personal identification works later. Finally, click on "Next".
  7. Finally, you will see a summary of your selection. You also have the option of activating automatic renewal and entering a payment method if required. You can change this selection at any time after completion.
  8. Once you have checked and entered all the details, you can accept the terms and conditions and click on "Complete". You will now be taken to your customer portal.
  9. Once you have completed this, the last step is to carry out digital personal identification. To do this, click on "Go to ID check" and follow the instructions.
  10. As soon as you have successfully completed the personal identification, your new SIM card will be activated and the porting request will be initiated for a number transfer. As soon as everything is ready, you will receive a confirmation email from us.
  11. If the SIM card is already in the device, restart your device completely once.


I'm an existing customer:

You already have a customer account with us and would like to order and activate a SIM card.



Ordering:
